George has strong experience in questionnaire and survey design and analysis, including advanced statistical and econometric techniques. He is an experienced web developer, with skills in information architecture and interface design, and a variety of client-side and server-side technologies. He also has some GIS expertise.
George is currently working on a PhD at LSE, exploring connections between environmental quality, sustainable consumption and subjective well-being. His recent work includes a quantitative analysis of air pollution, noise and access to nature in London, and their effects on London residents' life satisfaction, and a stated preference valuation of certification and co-benefits of carbon offsetting schemes (more details are available on his LSE web page [http://personal.lse.ac.uk/mackerro/]).
George holds an MSc in Environmental Economics & Policy from Imperial College London, and a BA (first class honours) from the University of Cambridge.
